
The Mayfaire family are experienced community health leaders with long-standing backgrounds in public health, patient advocacy, and nonprofit development. Together, they have spent years building programs that connect individuals to reliable medical, legal, and social resources while emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care. Their combined expertise in clinical support, operations, and education has shaped their reputation as dedicated, approachable founders who prioritize accessibility, trust, and high-quality service.

Dr. Erik Lowman, MD, Medical Director of Mayfaire Medical, is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Since 2016, he has provided specialized, compassionate care to the LGBTQ community through his work with one of the nation’s largest HIV treatment centers.

Alexander Boulos, MD, MPH is board-certified in Preventive Medicine and provides comprehensive LGBTQ+ focused healthcare services. He was awarded his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC and completed fellowship programs from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Samantha Alvarez is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience across diverse healthcare settings. She specializes in inclusive care and is currently pursuing her MD at St. George’s University. A strong advocate for holistic wellness and mental health, Samantha is also a published author on mindfulness.

Corlina Johnson is a board-certified Adult and Gerontologic Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, as well as an HIV Specialist certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Her career began in Baltimore, MD, where she worked in Infectious Diseases as an NIH intern at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health.
